Newcrest Mining commissioned eDNA Australia to assess suspected Quoll scats at a new development site. Mobilisation to commence clearing and ground preparations for a major mine extension had begun when preclearing inspection identified potential Quoll scats. Samples were analysed on a 24hr turnaround to meet a rigorous development schedule.
Seqwater
eDNA Australia was selected by Seqwater to screen for the presence of Tilapia (Oreochromis mosambicus) within Hinze Dam. Hinze Dam is a strategic water supply asset for Southeast Queensland and provides an important linkage between the developed coastal fringe and protected upper catchment of the Golf Coast hinterland.
